Can't delete an import reporsitory

api-labs September 10, 2017

I have a repo which always tries to import some other repo which I don't remember about. It has been in my account since at least an year. I want to delete it, how can I do that?

As always it tries to import some repository but always gets stuck a few ways off.

Dear Umair,

The repository owner and repository admins can delete a repository. The owner is the account that created the repository. Deleting a repository permanently removes it from Bitbucket. As a consequence, any URL referencing this repository no longer works. To delete a repository:

  1. From the repository you want to delete, click the Settings in the sidebar.
  2. From the Repository details page, click Delete Repository at the bottom of the page.
    Bitbucket displays the deletion dialog.

  3. (Optional) Enter a URL in the Redirect to field.
Future users who try to access your repository are sent to this new URL.
  4. Press Delete.

Friendly Regards,

I know how to delete normal repositories.

But I can't open the repository at all, it starts the import wizard which gets stuck forever.
