With these new Bitbucket Projects, can a repository belong to multiple projects? I suspect no due to phrases like "which will move the repository to that project". I have repositories that belong to multiple projects.
No. A repository can only be in one project.
We too have similar situations and would like this to become a feature if it isn't already. Otherwise, the idea of projects isn't really that useful.

Agreed. Our repos need to be shared by several projects.

This is a requirement for us also, as we are using SVN Mirror to mirror a SVN repo in BB. It doesn't make sense to mirror the same repo in multiple projects.
