Build from a specific folder rather than entire repository

git ftp init --user $USER --passwd $PASSWORD ftp://mydomain.com/public_html/ push the entire branch to the public_html.

How can we only push specific directories from the branch.

Eg: My branch have the following directory structure

  • App
  • Data
  • DB

I want to push only App + DB to public_html.

Hi @Kiran K,

Looking at the documentation for git ftp, it looks like you can create a .git-ftp-ignore file with patterns of files to be ignored. That might help you. See documentation here: https://github.com/git-ftp/git-ftp/blob/develop/man/git-ftp.1.md#ignoring-files-to-be-synced
