Hey Guys,
I have a repository, lets call it Fruits.
I have a few branches: apple, banana, blueberry.
I want to setup branch permissions so that a user lets say Ishan can only push to apple and not to anything other branch.
For that, I tried to assign permissions to Ishan for the apple branch, but then when I created a new branch (i.e. strawberry) and pushed it, it went through. This is not what I want.
Note: Ishan does not have any access/permissions except the apple branch.
Please let me know, whats the best approach..

Hi Ishan,
If you create a branch permission with a glob of '*' first then users/groups will need to have explicit permissions to be able to push to a branch.
Not sure if that would be too restrictive for you?
Charles
PS. I hope you're not checking in your fruit, they may not preserve very well. :)
