Hai,

I Have created bitbucket repositories with user id as   One of my previous mail id. Now that mail is deactivated, how to recover my previous repositories by using that existing bitbbucket user (deactivated mail id)

Hi and welcome to the community!

If this concerns a Bitbucket Cloud account (https://bitbucket.org/) and

  • you either have on your computer SSH keys that you set up for this account
  • or you remember the username and you have an app password for that account with at least Repositories - Read permissions

you should be able to clone or pull from these repos if you have existing clones.

Otherwise, you would need to log in to the old account to transfer the repos to another account you have access to now. That should be possible if you remember that account's password and if login to that account is possible without SSO.

If login to the old account is not possible and if you don't have SSH keys or an app password, then the only way to recover access would be by reactivating the email so you can request a password reset email and log in.

Kind regards,
Theodora
