Hello,
we need to update our bitbucket, a standalone installatione with 6.3.6 version .We are going to update it to 6.10.13 . What's the right strategy to do it ?
Actually our Bitbucket ais running with old oracle jdk (1.8.0_181), we need to update java and if possibile, we would like change it to openjdk or AdoptJDK . Is it possibile ?
Thanks
Regards
Morris
Hi @Marco Olivieri ,
there are several options to upgrade Bitbucket, one that would work for you is the installer : it has the AdoptJDK bundled so you don't need to worry about it !
You can have a look at the documentation and follow the steps for the upgrade : https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/bitbucket-server-upgrade-guide-776640551.html
Let me know if this helps,

Hello Alexis,
we done update to 6.10.13 version (from 6.3.6) . Update went well, but after update jdk stayed to old version :
java version "1.8.0_172"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_172-b11)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.172-b11, mixed mode)
We expected to go to a new version of AdoptJDK . Update process didn't update java .
Why ? We need to update java because it's not compliant with our security standard .
I hope someone could help.
Thanks
