Bitbucket and Shared Server

Yolanda Stevens April 5, 2013

Hello,
I have a master repo in Bitbucket and using Mercurial with my local
cloned repo. My web host/server is BlueHost which supports Git and I have installed on
Bluehost.
Not sure what to do next ... clone repo from Bitbucket into Bluehost?

I would like instructions/explanation how to set up deployment.
Thanks very much for any advice.

Hi Yolanda,

I don't understand the real issue here? What you want to do? "Not sure what to do next ... clone repo from Bitbucket into Bluehost?" Why you want to clone your repo to Bluehost? Are you wanting to leave Bitbucket service?

Cheers,

Lucas Lima

Not at all. I read in several places that is one way to get files from Bitbucket to BlueHost -- I thought this would be the easiest way to do this. What I want to do is to update the server (manually) every time changes are pushed to Bitbucket master repository. project will then be deployed on BlueHost. I know I can ftp files over but didn't want that way. If there is better way please let me know and thank you.
