Bitbucket Server - REST API to create new commits in the repository

Hi,

I am trying to create new commits in the Bitbucket-Server repo using REST API.
Even the latest Bitbucket-Server refers to REST API 1.0 which does not have this feature.  Reference - Bitbucket Server REST API 1.0

I am able to achieve this on Bitbucket Cloud with its REST API 2.0
Reference - Bitbucket REST API 2.0

1. Is there a REST API 2.0 equivalent for Bitbucket Server ?
2. Are there any alternatives to create new commits in repo without cloning to temp directory?

Thanks,
Sasi

I've just installed a trial version of BitBucket server, and it's still API 1.0. I found no way make a commit via API to this server.

Any comment from BitBucket team?
