Bitbucket Rest API error "Something went wrong" when requesting repository permissions

dat_billyfi November 29, 2021

Executing:

curl -s --user {user}:{app password}  "https://api.bitbucket.org/2.0/workspaces/${org}/permissions/repositories?pagelen=50&page=1"

Yields:

{"type": "error", "error": {"message": "Something went wrong", "id": "828ca9be093049179a71259182a906f5"}}

How can I continue to query repo permissions for the org?

Hi, @dat_billyfi

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

I checked the code you received and confirmed it means “RequestTimeoutError". So, in order to further investigate this issue, we would need to review this workspace.

I saw that you created a ticket with our support related to the same question, so to avoid any possible misunderstandings or miscommunication that may arise from discussing the same matter on two different platforms, let’s focus on the ticket instead.

Once the ticket is resolved, feel free to share the resolution here to help other community members that may have the same issue.

Kind regards,
Caroline
