Hi, we are in the process of changing our email addresses across our organisation.
From what I can see this will affect the existing commits we have in Bitbucket server.
So we have commits made under j.bloggs@oldaddress.com and BB links this to Jane Blogg's account. However when we update Jane's email address to j.bloggs@newemail.com then the old commits will no longer to Jane's BB account, and only new commits made with j.bloggs@newemail.com will be linked to her account.
Is my understanding correct?
Is there a way to link both commits with the old email and new email address with Jane's account?
The only real thing was that the user with old email address changed from a linked user account with their full name and icon (e,g. Joe Bloggs) to just their username (e.g. joebloggs) with no link or icon.
