When trying to connect Bitbucket server to JIRA we get an error setting up the OAUTH link from Bitbucket server to JIRA. In the tab a 500 server error appears. In the log we see:
2016-03-22 10:28:56,125 ERROR [http-nio-7990-exec-2] admin @CZ0RUIx628x3608x0 1im9ygn 10.74.1.20:50596,127.0.0.1 "GET /plugins/servlet/applinks/auth/conf/oauth/add-consumer-by-url/c6394b92-2873-351f-123d-76b02a3e1234 HTTP/1.1" org.apache.velocity ResourceManager : unable to find resource 'auth/applink-missing.vm' in any resource loader.

The other way around, JIRA to Bitbucket server seems to work fine. We can enable and disable oauth from within the link in JIRA. All tips are welcome

I have the same issue. Do you have any progress solving it?
Hi Eugene, our problem was related to IIS. We have BitBucket running on Windows/IIS. We use Application Request Routing (AAR) to redirect request to the appropriate site. In fact we also run Bamboo in this server as it is our test environment. Eventually I found some article which lead us to our solution.
The problem is caused by AAR. By default it uses 'Reverse rewrite host in response headers'. This option is found in Application Request Routing Cache at the IIS root site level. We unchecked the checkbox and it worked. Here is an article: http://www.iis.net/learn/extensions/configuring-application-request-routing-arr/creating-a-forward-proxy-using-application-request-routing Look at the item 'Configure ARR as Forward Proxy' bullet number 5...
Hope this also helps in your case!

Hi! Thx a lot. My problem was not with IIS, but also about proxy.
