Avatars keep changing

Seems to be an issue with project and repository avatars.  I will set them to my own custom jpg and they randomly revert back to what looks like a white outlined ship on a grey background.  I have changed them back multiple times to sometimes have the avatars stay and other times they will not change.  Anyone else have this issue.  It's becomeing a little frustrating.

Just commenting to say we're also experiencing this issue and it's negatively impacting our everyday work. We have hundreds of repos, often in pairs—one for application code and one for infrastructure—and the avatars are indispensable for quickly deducing which repo is which when searching.
