App Password in Bit Bucket server Edited

Can I create App Password in Bit Bucket server?

Or is there an alternative so that I can have a https:// link with some readonly credentials as a remote?

Hi Michał! You can not create an App Password in Bitbucket Server, but you might find this useful: Permanently authenticating with Git repositories.

Is that what you were looking for?

Cheers :)

Hello Ana,

Thanks for the sad news.

Unfortunately permanent authentication will not save me. I need it to configure r10k and not to contribute from command line :(((

Hi Michał,

As of Bitbucket 5.5+, we now have this feature available! Check out the docs for Personal access tokens to learn a bit more :)
