When you are doing commit, push, pull from SourceTree, do you get any error messages?

On the first attempt -  no error messages

The second time ( deleted 1st repository clone and cloned a 2nd time )  .  Now I get  false pull no commit origin master.

Problem is I don’t know the correct procedure to start with a new empty rep from scratch in bitbucket server .

On bitbucket server I  have the “you have an empty rep”  page and from the I’m more or less in the blue …

Okay, so the basic steps are as following:

  1. Clone your repository (which you did)
  2. Add a file to your repository
  3. Commit your change to the repository
  4. Push your changes to remote master (Bitbucket)

I would recommend checking out https://www.atlassian.com/git, there is a lot of information there about using Git.

Sorry my mistake

The commit did not 'commit'  in sourcetree as I dit not enter any comment

Thanks for the input.  Lots of work to get familiar with GIT ... :-)
