We are using bitbucket server and have restrictions in place for the protected branches like release and hotfix. Ideally the changes should only be pushed to these protected branch via a pull request. omegle xender But during testing we found that these restrictions can be bypassed by created a hotfix branch locally (from master) and push it to the bitbucket. Which creates a new hotfix branch and updates the code (though the initial state of the branch is different from master). How to stop this from happening and make pull request the only way to push changes to the protected branch?
