Why do the Git commands not execute?

Hasan Nakib August 11, 2021

Deployment script:

echo -e $PWD

cd path/to/directory

echo -e $PWD

git fetch origin

git reset HEAD origin/master

git pull origin master

I have created a pipeline which makes use of the ssh-run pipe to run a bash command on an A2 hosted cPanel server. The pipeline connects perfectly to the server and can locate the deployment script.

When the deployment script is executed it can locate the correct directory but when it tries to execute the git commands such as 'git fetch origin' there is no response from the pipelines system. I have tried a https origin and stored an encrypted set of credentials and have also tried the ssh set of credentials but I am having no such luck with the git commands.

I've tried both ssh keys generated from Bitbucket and from cPanel but I don't think that the ssh keys are the cause of the problem.
