I've been charged with creating a new staging environment at AWS. I understand how to setup a new deployment environment and how to add a new step to our current bitbucket-pipeline.yml file.
However, when I add this environment and step, I'm not able to deploy to it without deploying to previous steps. More importantly, I anticipate several complications along the way and will take longer than a trivial setup. If we have a release, there won't be anyway to get past this step.
Is there anyway to work on my step without disruption to the current pipelines?
