We will have a main Webinar instance on Zoom, where Matthias Sorge and Caterina Trainito will join us to discuss their question with the community. Despite some "usual" connection problems (feel free to include my rather old laptop with its somewhat broken microphone) Zoom meeting is a pretty good setup.

At least for the not so easy time during 'social cohesion' no better alternative comes to my mind right now.
I like the format - it was a nice hour with all of you attending.

While we are also not able to offer any bright idea regarding the challenge of promoting changes from a non-production environment to a production environment with just one click (or two) it was some kind of 'sharing the pain' - same time hoping for a better mechanism to be available in the future, apart from what we discussed during Virtual Breakfast.

"Configuration Manager for Jira" does a good job for us when we need to retire old Jira instances.
We use it to migrate (even complex) Jira projects to new instances (Server to Server, no cloud-solutions involved). In that case it is a one-time shot by means of a 'bespoke' solution.
This needs careful preparation in each case and even a Jira Administrator conducting the change from planning to providing some kind of after-care when the migration of a project is finished.

For promoting changes from non-production to production we also use the manual approach.

Some of our experienced Jira Administrators tend to skip several steps of testing in non-production environment - this of course depends heavily which specific task they are assigned to and bigger changes (like the mentioned testing of Apps) must not be done on our production systems before any testing.
