Hi everyone. During the demo a few questions came up and Florian asked me to jump on on those. So, here we go!

Q: [How] do you handle  DSGVO/GDPR? For confidential and restricted date this seems a bit public. Do the integrations consider permissions and restrictions inside Jira and Confluence?

A: TL;DR: yes :)

Long version: we do not access any of your data (esp. SharePoint/ OneDrive documents and Confluence content). Just minutes ago we published a blog post that outlines this pretty well, so I'll just link to that. Please reply (here or in our Blog) if there are still open questions on that matter!

Q: Do you have a shared user base in [Microsoft] 365 or Atlassian Access?

A: TL;DR: yes :)

Slightly longer version: Yes. For our internal systems we Sync users via Azure AD. In the Demo use case that was presented, however, this is not the case. Here authentication is done "manually" on both systems (client side, in browser) and permissions are checked "on-the-fly". This has the added benefit of users only seeing content they would see when logged into the respective system directly.

Q: Any experience with integrations beyond Jira, especially Opsgenie?

A: Unfortunately no :( May I ask to clarify what you are looking for specifically?

Thank you for this. Just to explain the third question: The recent acquisitions Opsgenie and Mindville (Insight) are important additions for ITSM solutions with Jira at their core. It would be nice to have e.g. Teams instead of Slack for notifications and discussions in Opsgenie. Integration von Sharepoint repositories in the knowledge base etc. Just a thought, without a lot of meat on the bone, I am afraid.
