number of github branches bamboo can show

We have bamboo version 5.6.1.  I am reconfiguring a build to use another branch and after some time, we already have better than 30 branches (with feature branching setup). 

My problem is that when setting up a new branch to build from in bamboo it is not showing my branch (trunk).  It seems like it loads alphabetically and has a limit on how many branches it will bring in to the drop down to chose from.

Am I doing something wrong?   Is there a work around for this?
