do I need Amazon EC2 for Bamboo onDemand?

Iman Khabazian November 19, 2013

Do I need to get Amazon EC2 inorder to use Bamboo onDemand? I want to create a script that runs a unity3d command line build everytime code is checked in, but I dont know where to start and the UI seems to be driving me towards getting an EC 2 instance which I rather not do. Any tips on running a unity3d command line build on commit to a bitbucket repo without an Amazon EC2?

Bamboo OnDemand does all its builds on EC2 at the moment. This may change in the future, but for now, it's the only option.

Is this still the case? I have my own dev and staging servers, I thought on setting up the Bamboo agents on my dev server. Is this an option or only EC2 is supported by ondemand?
