Assuming that the Gradle project is being built with a "gradlew" Gradle Wrapper script in the source directory (which Gradle recommends), this script can be run by Bamboo (without any plugins) by creating a "Command" task that uses /bin/bash (or another shell) as the executable and takes as its arguments "gradlew" followed by the arguments to the "gradlew" script.
Scala builds can be run from Bamboo as Maven tasks after configuring Maven as described here: http://davidb.github.io/scala-maven-plugin/usage.html
