[addon-com.stellarity.bamboo.powershell-task] - license problem

krisg October 31, 2013

After trialling the plugin we opted to purchase a license.

We have Bamboo 1 Remote Agent: Commercial License

We purchased PowerShell Task for Bamboo 1 Remote Agent: Commercial License

When we add in the license key we get this error:

License status:Incompatible with product license (different number of remote agents)

We have had to revert to using the trial license, which expires very soon, in order to continue to be able to deploy. We need to resolve this ASAP.

Can anyone advise?

Hello,

The "Bamboo 1 Remote Agent: Commercial License" in the original question was copy/pasted from within the License area on Atlassian.

Within the Admin > Licence area of the Bamboo instance, it also says this:

License Type - Bamboo Standard: Commercial Server
Number of local agents supported - Unlimited
Number of remote agents supported - 1

As such, im pretty sure that i have a commercial with 1 remote agent licence.

We are running Bamboo: version 4.3 build 3400

If you're using Bamboo 5.1+, you may want to check if the native support for PowerShell built into Script Task is enough for you.

Hi krisg,

It seems that your Bamboo license is for more than 1 remote agent, so there is a license mismatch.
