Why are my plan variables not replaced ?

I have defined a variable ${bamboo_db_ipAddress} in a plan. In one of the tasks, a command, I use the variable in the Arguments field like this : build.xml -Ddb.ipAddress=${bamboo_db_ipAddress}

However, the variable is not substituted with the value I pass when launching a parameterized run.

Am I doing something obviously wrong ?

I'm not sure if this was just a copy/paste error, you need to put 'bamboo' infront of the varaible name.

Like.. ${bamboo.bamboo_db_ipAddress}
