Where can I find the Bamboo EC2 AMI?

Silvio Rainoldi December 29, 2014

Where???

In "Manage elastic image configurations" I can create a new one, which asks for an AMI ID; I want to use the default Linux image and I can't find one.

I can find them only by configuring Bamboo EC2 to US East (Northern Virginia).

Hi Silvio,

You're right, currently Bamboo stock AMIs are only available in US-East region. We have an open feature request to move them to every region: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM-13746

Additionally if you save the AMI from within your Amazon Web Console you can transfer it to any region you like from there.

Thanks!
