What starts the Elastic Bamboo Agent on an Elastic Bamboo node?

nhooey November 12, 2015

I looked everywhere and I can't find out where the Elastic Bamboo Agent is configured to start.

It doesn't seem to be in any of these places:

  • /etc/rc.local
  • /etc/rc*.d/
  • /etc/init.d/

I'm asking because I need to delay startup of the agent until I can run some other script on the node.

The agent is run by the script called bamboo-elastic-agent, started either by /etc/rc.local or from /var/lib/cloud/scripts/per-instance. It's probably the latter in your case.
