I'm trying to understand the definition of a running remote agent so i can understand if i can afford bamboo.
We have cpp project that needs to build for 20 target types. Assuming I had 20 remote agent processes up on slave build boxes but only needed 5 concurrent builds then would I need 20 remote agent licenses or 5 remote agent licenses?
Assuming the answer is 5 then I presume that the licensing is centrally managed by the master Bamboo server and that builds would queue until a free spot opened up?
Hi @Matt Clarkson,
Yes, that is correct.
Bamboo manages licensing and 5 concurrent builds would require 5 licenses.
