I have a deploy script written in bash, today this is triggered using the ssh-task found among the deployment tasks using local agents.
The question is what features I won't have when using the ssh-task together with local agents rather than triggered using dedicated remote agents?
What are the benefits of using remote agents over local agents?
Hello @Jonathan Klingberg,
In your scenario there is no benefit on using remote agents vs local. Remote agents are helpful when you need to execute a lot of task at the same time: large distributed builds, or long plan executions. If you believe you don't need to do deployment to several environment at the same time then you don't need remote agents for your setup
