Technical support on Bamboo install on Windows 7

Eiji Ryuno July 23, 2014

Hello.

I am currently experiencing difficulty in installing Bamboo trial version (5.2.1) on Windows 7 and needing to reach out for help.

The latest JDK & JRE (1.8) have been successfully installed under C\Program Files.

The external DB (PostgreSQL) has been set for Bamboo use.

When I command, the screen says like

---------------------------------------------------------------------

'C:\Program Files\Atlassian\Bamboo\bin>start-bamboo.bat

To run Bamboo in the foreground, start the server with start-bamboo.bat /fg

Bamboo Standalone Edition

Version : 5.5.1'

---------------------------------------------------------------------

I get stuck here, being unable to go further.

Also I go see the browser but am unable to access http://localhost:8085/to configure Bamboo with Setup Wizard.

Would you please be kind to give me some advice or instruction?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Eiji

Eiji

Please check with https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMBOO/Supported+platforms that Bamboo does not support Java 1.8 yet. Please use Java 1.7 to run Bamboo.

Of course you can use JDK 1.8 to build your projects once you setup Bamboo.
