Task in bamboo job is not working in mac OS

udhaya karthick December 11, 2017

Hi,

I'm having a bamboo job with 4 tasks in it. When I manually run the Plan, first task is running but the next task is not triggering.

First 3 tasks are scripts (.sh) and last one is code checkout task.

After executing the first task(running selenium hub), its keep on waiting.

Environment: Mac OS Sierra (10.12.6)

Tasks: .sh files that contains terminal commands.

Kindly help on this..

Thanks!!!

Hi udhayakarthick,

We need to verify that the script tasks execute from the terminal to determine if the script is causing the issue or if it's Bamboo.

At this time can you test with the script itself from terminal and let me know the results?

Cheers,

Branden

Thanks Branden!!

Issue was with my script itself and i'm able to resolve. Task1 was to start appium server and it will keep on polling for requests. Hence other tasks following this task didn't start. Resolved by making the bash script to execute the command and move to next command without waiting for the return.
