Simple question. I forgot my credentials and my bamboo server does not have email.

I forgot my credentials and my bamboo server does not have email access. How can reset my username and password? I do have root access.

If you have Bamboo 6.6+, you can use this process to recover password without direct DB update https://confluence.atlassian.com/bamboo0606/administering-bamboo/lockout-recovery-process

If you are using the embedded database you have to update the \database\defaultdb.script to set a new password, and if you are using an external database you just have to modify the password in that database.
