Simple dropdown for Bamboo

I cannot find any proper reference in documentation for simple dropdown addition to custom Task for Bamboo with GUI. How to persist the selection and so on...

It shows link to http://www.opensymphony.com/webwork/wikidocs/FreeMarker%20Tags.html , which is broken since like forever. I found no posts regarding this too. If as a developer, I am looking to create a simple dropdown within a custom task with GUI for Bamboo, what are the options to look for? I don't find anything. 

It would be helpful if you update the documentation to a working link or provide any help here so others looking to do the same thing can find answer.
