SCP Task not maintaining directory structure

Cesar Covarrubias May 27, 2014

I'm trying to configure a simple deployment project in Bamboo. I have a "build" that pulls my source from git. The files pulled are my artifacts. In the build, the artifacts maintain the proper directory structure. When I create a Deployment Plan and assign the SCP task to push these artifacts, the directory structure is not maintained for one of the directories. This is also not case sensitive. It is not happening to the first directory, but it is happening to the same directory every release.

What the structure should be:

  • Target Directory
    • A-Directory
      • A-subdirectory1
      • A-subdirectory2
    • B-Directory
      • B-subdirectory1

What the SCP Task does:

  • Target Directory
    • A-Subdirectory1
    • A-Subdirectory2
    • B-Directory
      • B-Subdirectory

Anyone have an idea why this is happening?

**EDIT**

This behavior is only occurring if the target directory doesn't exist on the remote host.
