I would like to know a way of disabling the Production stage “Deploy” button when a build is not approved. Approved button is selected in our group when a build is validated and determined to be a release candidate to production. This will enable the “Deploy” button for the projects Production stages after a user has approved the build. Is there a plugin or a method in the api for this?
I also would like to know, how the supposed way is to protect production.
We have several Team Environments and also Integeration, Staging and PreProd. Yesterday we did a deployment to production by accident because we wanted to deploy to pre production.
Now we want to prevent that. The best way to do this, would be in our mine a four eyes principle, but at least the ability to be only able to deploy approved builds would be also great.
For now we will have a dedicated shared user, but than we loose the information who actually did the deployment.
