Override Bamboo build plan dependencies for a branch

In Bamboo build plan one can define dependencies - child build plans to be triggered.

It is also possible to manually define branches of a build plan.

Is it possible to define dependencies for a branch build plan, different from their respective master build plan dependencies?

It doesn't seem possible at the moment.

Have you found an answer to this question yet? I don't want to run dependencies on our master branch as our master branch is currently setup to run a different set of maven command that will cause an artefact release.
