First time user following guide https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMBOO/Getting+started+with+Java+and+Bamboo

First I make it to step 3, but I did not see a dialog/option for setting up the trigger, but assume I can just do manual for now.

I add  maven 3.2 builder task, slightly modify the target to "clean install", enable the plan and create it.

It queues but never runs ...

I look though my running instances (aws account is used for other things), no "bamboo" created instances.

What am I missing in this first time plan tutorial/setup?

1) In Administration ->Elastic Bamboo -> Configuration, what are your settings under "Automatic elastic instance management". You can set conditions under which Bamboo automatically starts instances there.

2) You can always go to Administration -> Elastic Bamboo -> Instances and manually start/stop elastic instances.
