No agent can build this job

Trond Kvarenes November 25, 2013

Hi.

I have a build defined where the only task is to get the source code from GIT.

I also have defined an elastic image configured with the GIT capability and GIT installed on the correct path.

When I look at the "Agent Matrix" I see the job and the elastic image configuration with a green hook.

Even so, when I start the job I get the message:

No agents are available to build this job.
this job can be run on an elastic agent by starting a new elastic instance.

However, the elastic instance is running and the agent has the status pending.

What else to I have to configure to get it running?

Where can I find any log or information about what goes wrong during a build? The system error logs are empty.

Regards

Trond

Ok.

I used the AMI from the us-east region, and it worked.

Would be nice to have these pre-configured AMIs om other regions as well. At least some more information about that these are only avaliable in the us-east region, so one does not have to spend too mutch time setting the image up.

Additionally, here is a Knowledge Base article with step-by-steps instructions on how to change the region so the stock AMIs can be selected: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMKB/Unable+to+view+or+select+default+images
