Multiple entries with same key Unexpected Error in Bamboo

Jon Jones July 8, 2016

When trying to rekick a failed job, Bamboo presents "an Unexpected Error Occurred" with a message similar to:

Multiple entries with same key: VARIABLE_NAME=VariableDefinitionContextImpl{variableType=RESULT, key=VARIABLE_NAME, value=J:} and VARIABLE_NAME=VariableDefinitionContextImpl{variableType=RESULT, key=VARIABLE_NAME, value=J:}
Plan 'PLAN_NAME' did not start

Has anyone seen this type of error before? I didn't write the scripts being kicked, but it seems there is a task to remove drive mappings and re-map them in this job. Normally I'm used to seeing errors inside the logs for a job, but not an error presented on the screen like this.

Yes, we seen it, it's been fixed in 5.11. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM-15546 If you're using this or later version already, please contact Atlassian Support so that we can investigate.
