Moving a Bamboo Server + Agents

I need to move a Bamboo server and the related agents to a new location.

Regarding the server, I will install a fresh Bamboo instance, then export / import from the current server.

For the agents, is there something I shall move from the current machines, or shall I just install fresh agents and point them on the new server?

Hi Stéphane,

You can just install a fresh agent on the new server as well. Once that is done, you can just merge the {{agenthome/xml-data}} directory with one from the old server as that directory contains all the agent build working directory. In case you forgot to do that, it is not a problem as well bcause the build directory will be created again upon new build.

Hope that answers your question
