Launching Bamboo for first time does not bring up wizard

cricket April 20, 2015

I was following the instructions here:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMBOO/Installing+Bamboo+on+Mac+OS+X

Which seem to indicate the Setup Wizard will launch when I run start-bamboo.sh - After 10s I get this in standard out:

INFO: Server startup in 10575 ms

I'm not seeing anything that looks like an error.

How exactly am I supposed to get the Setup Wizard to run? Do I need a Setup Wizard Wizard? wink

This is the first time I've ever run this on this machine. Mac OS X 10.10.3

Hello Cricket

Thank you for your question.

Are you able to hit http://localhost:8085 successfully from your web browser?

# under <bamboo-install>/conf/server.xml
<Connector port="8085"

In case you have added a context path to Bamboo under "<bamboo-install>/conf/server.xml" please, hit on your web browser as per following:

<Context path="/bamboo" docBase="${catalina.home}/atlassian-bamboo" reloadable="false" useHttpOnly="true">
 • http://localhost:8085/bamboo

If you find this answer useful, I would kindly ask you to accept it so the same will be visible to others who might be facing the same issue you have inquired.

Thank you for your understanding.

Kind regards,
