We're enjoying quarantined tests. However, there's a problem that we're facing.
We have a plan that runs on our development trunk that does integration tests and then deploys the built artifacts.
We have another plan that runs integration tests on our development branches.
The first plan has 40 quarantined tests and so the build passes. Is there a way to copy those quarantines over to our second plan so that the plan branches pass (or fail) with those quarantines in place? Forty quarantines is a pretty tedious number to copy over and it can't be done brainlessly, since you need to be sure that your quarantining the same tests (and not a different 40... or other number).
In theory, you should enable branches on your plan. When running a non-master branch, you'll be able to see that the test was quarantined on the master branch (yay, that's a suggestion I submitted exactly one year ago!).
Other than that, Bamboo has no way to copy quarantined tests across plans. I know branch builds are only convenient when you practive continuous development (= every finished issue is merged to Master, every delivery branch is branched off master).
Also, would Bob Swift's CLI solve that?
Bamboo 5.9 will no longer be supported after June 12, 2017. What does this mean? As part of our End of Life policy, Atlassian supports major versions for two years after the first major iteratio...
