Is there a way to configure the system timezone for Bamboo OnDemand?

Steve Muskiewicz July 1, 2013

Our Bamboo OnDemand instance has its timezone set to US/Central (as seen from the System Information page). Is there any way to configure this to use US/Eastern instead? It makes it difficult when reviewing build logs to always have to remember to add an hour to the time stamps.

(Our JIRA OnDemand instance is configured to the proper timezone but something tells me this setting doesn't impact Bamboo at all)

I believe Bamboo uses the system timezone. This timezone would have been chosen by whoever created the OnDemand instance. It is changeable, but you will need to open a Support case and request this (and the change will involve a restart of your instance).

JIRA has the ability to override the system timezone, which is probably why JIRA is OK for you.

@Michael Knight by system timezone you are referring to the `user.timezone` sysproperty. Is that right?
