Is it possible to setup an Elastic Bamboo instance to use a EBS Volume instead of an EBS Snapshot

We have just begun setting up our JIRA-Studio / OnDemand system to use Bamboo. I've got the builds running, however because we are using Subversion, I notice that an instance has to do a fresh-checkout of a working copy every time it starts (using auto-managed elastic instances).

I would like to setup my elastic instances to have a persistent volume that houses the bamboo_home directory, but that doesn't seem possible. Am I missing something?
