I'm facing an error while trying to setup .NET project in bamboo?

MSBUILD : error MSB1009: Project file does not exist.

but i'm mention the path as

projectname /path/filename.csproj

Make sure your project is located in this path ${bamboo.build.working.directory} (which should probably be named ...JOB1\projectname\path\filename.csproj. If it's in a subdirectory you can either change the path or depending on what task type you're using specify a different working sub-directory. You may need to specify your path as .\projectname\path\filename.csproj.

Where is this documented? I'm really struggling trying to get a build and the documentation leaves much to be desired. Does there exist a step by step guide to building a .NET application that is hosted on bitbucket?

Agreed.  I cannot find any real documentation on the Project File field, other than "the project name goes here".  I am evaluating the Atlassian products right now and this is like pulling teeth compared to TeamCity.
