How to automatically map source repository alias to Bamboo username?

Mark McD May 16, 2012

I have configured Bamboo to use LDAP authentication & it is the same LDAP tree our source repositories use for authentication.

Is there a way to get Bamboo to map its usernames to the usernames attached to commits in the source repositories? Ideally behaving the same way as FishEye does.

At the moment, you have to setup the mappings manually. I've opened a improvement issue for this.

What version control system do you use? Does it use the same LDAP directory for authentication as Bamboo?

Ahh yes - I can set the same LDAP repository for Bamboo & FishEye when I set an application link and it auto-maps correctly. Thanks!
