How do I include a SASS compiler in my bamboo cloud?

I finally have my bamboo plan triggering on repository changes and building the artifact correctly using Bower ang Grunt. However because my css file is generated dynamically from SASS using grunt-contrib-compass which relies on having Ruby and Compass installed, the css file is not being generated in the grunt build.

Is there a way to include ruby and compass on the AMI? Is there a better SASS compiler to be using that is better suited to Bamboo?
