How can you tell bamboo that a release was manually deployed to an environment

Hi, with our database, when a database build is complete, it can be deployed to a Database instance (environment).  This takes 4-6 hours.  Once a Database instance has been deployed to, we can take a backup and restore this to other Database instances.  How can we tell bamboo that these instances now contain the same release - given that bamboo was not involved in getting them there?

Or do we have to create an alternative "deployment" plan that does the restore alternative?

We found a way - disable the script that actually does the deploy, then run.  It "succeeds" and registers the environment as having the release.
