Glassfish Support

John Ah Fong August 20, 2012

Hello,

I need to configure bamboo to deploy on Glassfish server 3.x , but it is not working.

Could you please confirm me that Bamboo doesn't support deployment on Glassfish server?

Is there a workaround in terms of plugin?

Thanks for your help,

John

You can use an SCP task to copy your WAR/EAR to glassifish's autodeploy folder, or if you use maven, you can configure the glassfish deploy using the glassfish maven plugin: http://maven-glassfish-plugin.java.net/ and run that maven target in Bamboo.

Atlassian only support their stuff on Tomcat.

I've not tried Bamboo on Glassfish, but it is possible to get their apps to run on Glassfish (Jira works). You don't need plugins, but you do need to tinker with Glassfish settings a bit.

Perhaps if you shared the symptoms and errors you're getting?
