Get all plan varibles in script task

sangeeta January 11, 2018

I want to display all plan variables in a script task . I can display a specific variable using the following:

echo ${bamboo.myVarName}

Is there a way where we can display all plan variables in [key:value] pairs.

The task dump variables to log display all variables but we need only plan variables.

Hi Sangeeta,

Thanks for your question!

You can use the "env" command (if using Linux OS) to print out the session variables. This will include all the Bamboo Variables.

And if you want to restrict it to the Bamboo Variables then you can pipe it something like this:

env | grep bamboo_

This will only print the variables starting with "bamboo_" and if you want to filter further then you can follow a pattern while declaring the variables and then use the same pattern with the pipe.

You can also assign this to a separate variable and then iterate that variable and then play with it in a way you want.

Hope this will help!

Thanks,

Robhit
