Error from Bamboo

Hi,

I have seen this error on several occasions :

14-Jun-2013 11:52:35	Failure in artifact preparation phase during processing of: Subscription for Shared artifact: [Publish], pattern: [Publish.7z] anchored at[Publish], destination: []
14-Jun-2013 11:52:35	1 error(s) found when performing pre-build actions.

If i do a rebuild it solves the problem. Anyone knows what's causing this ?

PS: We are running 4.4.4 bamboo server on Windows 2008 Server + 2 x Remote Agents. Our Artifacts folder is on a network drive.

Hi Donnib,

I guess this is the error from the Bamboo server itself but can you check the remote agent logs at that specific timestamp to see what exceptions are thrown? It is mostly likely a network issue or proxy.

On a site note, this could be an undiscovered bug with 4.4.4 as we have recently receive a similar issue where an upgrade to 4.4.5 fixed

HI Sultan,

I have been experiencing this issue as well, on 5.0 beta-3 (see JIRA BAM-13322). The problem can occur even on a local agent. Unlike donnib, I don't even have a stack trace :-(
